SpaceX Starlink Starlink mission launched into the sky on Thursday (March 21), leaving a spectacular sight in its wake. As the rocket blazed through the atmosphere, it illuminated the night sky, leaving behind a trail of bright light.
The launch was captured by skywatcher Mateusz Belter from Poland, who managed to snap some incredible photos of the event. However, amidst the breathtaking display, Belter also noticed an unexpected presence in the sky – a swarm of jellyfish.
The jellyfish-like creatures seemed to be floating in the night sky, adding an eerie and mystical element to the already mesmerizing scene. Belter’s photos quickly went viral on social media, with many viewers expressing awe and wonder at the unique sight.
Scientists have since explained that the jellyfish-like appearance was likely caused by the rocket’s exhaust plumes interacting with ice crystals in the atmosphere. While the phenomenon is not unusual, it is relatively rare to capture such a striking image of it.
The SpaceX Starlink mission continued on its path, successfully deploying its payload of satellites into orbit. The jellyfish in the sky may have been a surprising sight, but it served as a reminder of the beauty and mystery of the cosmos that surrounds us.
